New leadership arrangements for Aristocrat Interactive and Corporate Affairs

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) advises new leadership arrangements for Aristocrat Interactive, and for Group Corporate Affairs & Marketing. 

Aristocrat Interactive

Moti Malul (CEO, Aristocrat Interactive) has stepped down from his role, and will depart the business in March 2026 at the completion of his notice period and other contractual obligations.

Mr Malul successfully led NeoGames through its acquisition by Aristocrat, and steered the creation of the Aristocrat Interactive business over the past 18 months. Following a comprehensive global search, Dylan Slaney has been appointedto succeed Mr Malul as CEO, Aristocrat Interactive, and is expected to commence on 3 November 2025 subject to the receipt of necessary regulatory pre-approvals. 

Mr Slaney is a proven iGaming executive, with over ten years of global leadership experience in the sector. Mr Slaney was most recently CEO of Light & Wonder’s iGaming business, and has also held leadership positions at NYX, SG Digital and in the global customer data science company, dunnhumby.  Mr Slaney has a track record of driving operational excellence and a customer first approach that delivers transformative growth. He holds a B.A in Business Studies (first class honours) from the University of Derby.

Corporate Affairs & Marketing

Natalie Toohey (Chief Corporate Affairs Officer) has chosen to pursue new opportunities after almost seven years in her role. Barry French has been appointed to succeed Ms Toohey in the expanded role of Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Ms Toohey will ensure a smooth transition and be available to provide further support under a consulting arrangement.

Mr French is a seasoned corporate affairs and marketing executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications, transport, aerospace, defence and technology sectors. Mr French has lived and worked in the US, UK and Finland, and led multinational teams in fast-paced regulated and consumer-facing organisations. Mr French was previously Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Inmarsat and before that at Nokia. He holds a B.A in Political Science from Bates College, and an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University. 

Both Mr Slaney and Mr French will report directly to Aristocrat Group CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker, and will join the Executive Steering Committee. Mr Slaney will be based in London, and Mr French will be based in Las Vegas.
